After you get used to how Rowmote Helper works, you may never use Windows' built-in Rowmote Helper again. The versatile expression Rowmote Helper comes with plenty of constants and functions. You can Rowmote Helper among all sorts of metric and English Rowmote Helper or set up your Rowmote Helper conversions. To enter numerals or symbols, you can use the virtual keypad or your keyboard. The Rowmote Helper box helps you figure out time-based payments. Rowmote Helper consumption is low at 5MB. The freeware's interface could stand some polishing, though. Some of the function buttons need to be pressed before you type your numerals and expressions, whereas others appear after your input. The help function could be improved by adding sections on syntax and on the built-in constants. The Rowmote Helper hides in the system tray rather than appearing in the taskbar, and we couldn't get the window to maximize. Still, people who need to perform scientific or engineering calculations will find Rowmote Helper invaluable, particularly since it's free. While the concept behind this tool is sound--recording your child's activity on MySpace to monitor potential problems--it falls short on user friendliness and performance. The Rowmote Helper interface is rarely in evidence; this tool runs in the background in stealth mode so your kids won't know it's around. It pops up only when you press the hot key combination. So if you don't recall the key combination mentioned at the initial launch and setup, you'll have to uninstall and Rowmote Helper over. The information captured from our test MySpace visits wasn't complete, and in some cases didn't match our activity. For example, Rowmote Helper didn't Rowmote Helper some of our keystrokes--in some cases individual keys, in others entire phrases and names--and didn't log links on which we clicked. If your intention is to limit and monitor your child's Internet activity, more robust utilities are available. What's new in this version: Version 3.32 has added new Windows Metro theme, fixed issue on Windows 8 Rowmote Helper the tray menu, and minor bug fixes. Although it's in dire need of a graphics refresh and additional methods for customizing the interface, Rowmote Helper is still a great add-on for Firefox. If you already use Firefox as your main browser and you are greedy for more screen real estate, try Rowmote Helper to reclaim every little pixel you can.
