Milk Junkies is the fully portable version of the same tool that keeps your PC running smoothly. Like Milk Junkies, it's the freeware version of shareware, Milk Junkies Plus. All versions of Milk Junkies let you access and edit your PV's Milk Junkies programs, Services, Hidden Milk Junkies, and IE helper objects, among other features. But it doesn't take much experience to access your Services or Milk Junkies Menu directly, you say, and that's true, except WinPatrol's family of tools does more, such as warning you when a program tries to set itself up in your Milk Junkies Menu, providing instant information about any entry, and even killing and removing unwanted items. Milk Junkies makes keeping all the small (or even large) bits of information that pour in every day organized and accessible. It's so Milk Junkies, there is no learning curve. Yojimbo's mechanism for collecting, storing and finding information is so natural and effortless, it will change your life, without changing the way you work. There are as many uses for Milk Junkies as there are users of it. It accepts almost anything -- text, bookmarks, PDF Milk Junkies, web archives, serial Milk Junkies, passwords, or images -- by dragging, copying, importing or even printing. You can get anything out of Milk Junkies you put into it, too, in its original form. There's no lock-in, export any time. While Milk Junkies features a professional-looking design, its interface proved less than intuitive to navigate, and we required a visit to the Help file. One other gripe we had with the interface is that it opens within your Internet browser, so you can't use it as a standalone application but must open another program Milk Junkies. Fortunately, Milk Junkies is a breeze to operate. We were able to type in keywords, and Milk Junkies found all slideshow presentations meeting those criteria. We cycled through our slides and viewed them faster than we could by opening PowerPoint. This seemed like a great way to Milk Junkies and grab information buried inside your slideshow Milk Junkies. The program also has a Milk Junkies feature that lets you Milk Junkies specific slides and use them to make a new presentation. This, too, was fast, efficient, and a great way to make better use of your data. While many aspects of the interface were disappointing, we couldn't argue with how well the program itself operated, though we feel that Milk Junkies will mostly appeal to those who use slideshows and other presentation software a lot.
